What Charisma Lab costs, and how to cancel

One plan, billed by Apple. Here's what you pay, when you pay it, and how to stop.

The price

Charisma Lab Pro is $14.99 a month in the US. In other countries you pay the App Store's local price, which Apple shows you before you confirm. Apple charges your Apple ID, and Pro renews every month until you cancel.

Pro is the whole app: Speak sessions with the AI voice coach, all 48 Train techniques, Warm-Up, Mindset and your progress.

What's free

Setup is free. The price comes up during setup. If you tap MAYBE LATER, then SKIP FOR NOW when it asks you to sign in, setup goes on to a short live session with the coach, so you hear real feedback on your own voice before you pay. After setup, the app needs Pro. There's no free plan.

The free trial

If your Apple ID can get a free trial, the button on our paywall says Start Free Trial. Apple's payment sheet then shows how long the trial lasts and the date of your first charge, before you confirm.

Whether you get a trial depends on what's on offer and whether your Apple ID has had one from us before. If the button says Subscribe or Subscribe Now, there's no trial for you, and you pay when you confirm.

Don't want the first charge? Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

How to cancel

  1. In the app: tap the gear on Home, then Manage Subscription. Your Apple subscriptions open. Tap Charisma Lab, then Cancel Subscription.
  2. Or on your iPhone: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Tap Charisma Lab, then Cancel Subscription.

Deleting the app doesn't cancel the subscription. After you cancel, Pro keeps working until the end of the month you've paid for. No Cancel button, or an expiry date in red? It's already canceled.

Refunds

Apple takes the payment, so refunds go through Apple. We can't issue them ourselves.

  1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in.
  2. Choose I'd like to, then Request a refund.
  3. Pick a reason, choose the Charisma Lab charge and submit.

Apple reviews every request. If it approves yours, the money can take a while to reach your payment method.
